Norman Yemm is an all-round entertainer - singer, cabaret performer and actor. He is well-known for his role of Norm Baker in The Sullivans. He is best remembered as Senior Detective Jim Patterson in episodes 211 - 333 of the classic Australian drama series Homicide. In 1973 he recorded a single for RCA Records called "Darlin' Vera" which was about his girl friend Vera Collins in the soap Number 96, Norman played Harry Collins. Like Abigail, Johnny Lockword and Joe Hasham Norman tries his luck at the top 40 charts.
