Post 30 - Peter Russell-Clarke - Good On You Blue/ Waltzing Matilda

Peter Russell-Clarke is most famous for hosting a 5 minute T.V. show on the ABC called “Come And Get It”. He has a friendly on-camera style, and often giggles while explaining his food preparation. This has led to much mimicry from comedians and impressionists around Australia. Some of his catchphrases include: 'G'day' (while giggling), 'Where's the Cheese?'
In early 2008, a video surfaced on Youtube showing a compilation of Peter Russell-Clarke's bloopers, containing obscene language. Shortly after this release, Russell-Clarke appeared on Triple J to discuss the issue, refusing to be bothered by it. But way back in 1980 for you to download he recorded a single for EMI called “Good On You Blue b/w “Waltzing Matilda” (ROO-101). I can’t find any info on this record as to why he recorded it or if there was a follow up so if any one out there knows any thing else about this record please leave a comment in the box.
